Layered System

The MULTICOAT 40 B3 Coat is constructed with four main layers for maximum protection:

• Outer Layer: Utilizes a special blend of high-tech fibers including Teijinconex®, Lenzing™FR, PES, and Beltron®. These fibers provide superior heat and flame resistance, mechanical strength, and antistatic properties.
• Moisture Barrier: a blend of PES FR and breathable PU.
• Thermal Barrier: Consists of Non-woven Aramid for superior heat insulation.
• Inner Lining: A blend of Kermel® and Lenzing™FR for added comfort.

Reflective Strips

• 50mm wide grey flame-resistant reflective tape enhances visibility and safety in low-light and medium-risk situations.

Certifications and Standards

CE Certification: Holds an EU Type Examination Certificate according to (EU) 2016/425 PPE Regulation and carries the CE mark.

EN ISO 11612: Certified for protection against heat and flame with performance levels:

• A1: Limited Flame Spread
• B2: Convective Heat
• C2: Radiant Heat
• F3: Contact Heat

EN IEC 61482-1-1: Provides protection against electric arcs with an ATPV value of 40 cal/cm².

EN 1149-5: Exhibits antistatic properties for enhanced safety.

EN 17353: Classified as Type B3 for enhanced visibility equipment suitable for medium-risk situations.

EN ISO 13688: Meets general requirements for ergonomics and design.

• Reflective Safety Strips: Features a single row of 5 cm flame-retardant reflective tape on the chest, back and arms (available in yellow-gray-yellow or red-gray-red) for increased visibility.

• Adjustable Cuffs: Sleeves are fitted with FR textile Velcro cuffs, allowing you to adjust the fit around your wrists for added comfort and safety.
