The latest addition to the ISTEC Showers & Eyebaths range of emergency showers is ATEX Zone 1, 2 Certification according to new IEC TS 60079-46:2017 standard, Explosive atmospheres - Part 46: Equipment assemblies.
We are proud to be a first in the world who achieved to get certified emergency showers as per IEC TS 60079-46:2017, EN 60079-14:2014, EN ISO 80079-36:2016, EN 60079-0:2012/A11:2013 standards. Our emergency showers carry CE mark.
IEC TS 60079-46:2017 specifies requirements for the design, construction, assembly, testing, inspection, marking, documenting and assessment of equipment assemblies for use in explosive atmospheres under the responsibility of the manufacturer of the equipment assembly. The requirements of this document apply to individual items according to the IEC 60079 series or ISO 80079 series that comprise the assembly and that have individual certificates. These individual items are then integrated as part of the equipment assembly.
