The ISTEC DM 10-Liter Portable Decontamination System operates on the principle of discharging stored decontamination solution using pressurized air. Once the liquid agent or water is filled into the tank, the integrated manual pump is used to build internal air pressure. This pressure forces the solution through the hose and lance assembly onto the target surface. The operating pressure is monitored via the pressure gauge, and when the required level is reached, the liquid is discharged as a spray or pinpoint jet via the adjustable nozzle. This ensures optimal contact between the decontamination solution and the chemical, biological, or radiological contaminants on personnel, equipment, and surfaces, effectively neutralizing the hazard.
